RE:flect"For the day of the Lord is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you; your deeds shall return on your own head."
Though this was written around 2,500 years ago. Let me remind you that TIME in God's mind is not necessarily time as we know. If we still lived 500 years or longer... we would only think of this prophecy as around 5 lifetimes ago. But we live only 100 years at best and this is like 25 lifetimes ago! So we must understand that God will bring his ultimate judgement to the nations, to all of mankind at his time. However, there are ways that God punishes and judges certain nations until that day of ultimate justice.
RE:act
Thank God today for hell, for punishment, for judgement. Why? Because these are the ways a Holy Judge reacts to injustice, rebellion, sin and hate. It sounds weird maybe to tell God thank you for hell and judgement - but we must also realize that we can run to God for justice. He wishes to fight for the oppressed (the fatherless, the alien, the widow). He is jealous to be the savior of the world!
RE:ply.
Lord, thank you for rising in your anger and justice and fighting for those whom are stepped on, lied to, oppressed, hurt, abused and who are cheated. Thank you for taking up the cause, of making your strength and might available to the cause of the weak.
Lord, may those who do not know your son come to find him soon. If not, I thank you for holding men to account for all the hurt and pain that they cause others. To be held accountable to the rebellion against you. You are a holy and good Judge. Thank you for be a dependable God, you do not shift. You are God alone.
"He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"
