RE:flect"In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the exiles by the Chebar canal, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God."
Isn't it strange that Isaiah, and Ezekiel's first visions of God are... of GOD? There is FIRST a realization, a revelation, of the Holy Creator of the Universe. A confidence and holy fear in the one calling them into service. I believe it is this fact primarily that got these prophets through the hard times of ministry. Knowing that the Creator was giving them this task is one thing. Knowing, seeing, experiencing, the Creator is another.

Do you see God this way? Before we get into the motivations to share your faith, to do the right thing, to not compromise your faith... do you get why? or WHO? I think that we will never be able to fully give ourselves to any cause, if we don't understand the why and who is asking us! In fact, I think it is pretty near impossible to live the Christian life without a good understanding of GOD himself!

Lord, show us your glory. Show us yourself. Thank you for your word. May we open our eyes to see you in all of your honor, glory and might. You are amazing. You are wonderful. You are God! May we serve you!
"Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!"
Psalm 108:5
