01.10 -- I Kings 10:1-13

RE:flect
We often talk about being blessed by God, to be a blessing to others. A great motivation. But what if we are blessed by God THROUGH others? Should we be surprised that we receive $500 at our graduation party from a couple in the church that watched you take care of their kids on Sunday mornings while you were in high school? Even the Queen of Sheba recognized these things. This is an encouragement, not a rule, but if God trusts you with many things... and people see that, maybe others will trust you with many things also -- and bless you.

RE:act
Motivation check. Ask yourself this question at the end of today: Would others recognize God's work and blessing in my life, and would they also trust me to help them? Can we let God live and work in us, and be prepared to NOT hide that?

RE:ply
Lord, help me to let you cultivate a garden of blessings in my life.
Lord, help me to display all your wonder, and your works, let me be passive in this work
Lord, help me to be active in my sharing and proclaiming of your work in my life, and your gospel message!
Lord, thank you for deliverance through Jesus Christ.

"I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord." Psalm 40:1-3
