01.09 -- Psalm 84:1-12

RE:flect
Again we reflect on a Psalm by reading it, writing down the points, and using it to help us pray in our spiritual life.

RE:act
vs. 1-2 - the Lords temple is lovely. I long to be there.
vs. 3-4 - everyone finds a home there, even a bird. blessed is everyone who visits
vs. 5-7 - those who look to you for strength are able to move from victory to victory
vs. 8-9 - Lord listen to me.
vs. 10-12 - One day with you is worth thousands elsewhere, I would rather work the grave yard shift at the temple than be honored by wicked people. Your honor those who trust in you.

RE:ply
Lord, you have made me your temple. Your presence is here. You have made me your home also. I long to live a life that recognizes this. As others found strength in Jerusalem in the past, even birds, may I find strength in your presence in my life, my body.
Lord, you will give me victory when I walk with you. No matter where, I can have deliverance.
Lord, hear my words, listen to me.
Lord, I want to long to be with you more. I want to know you more. I would rather live in poverty and pain with your Holy Spirit than to have plenty, no want, and to be apart from your saving grace.
Lord, I love you, trust you, honor you.

"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13
