Vs. 10-12 remake my heart to be pure, help me to be determined, come close, remind me of the joy found in your forgiveness

Vs. 16-17 You do not desire more animal sacrifices, you want a humble spirit and willing heart.

RE:ply
Lord, you are merciful – I know this, I know your love. In mercy make me clean, forgive and wash away this guilt. I think about my failure, my sin against you. Please take it from me.
Lord, I am frustrated, it seems that I am willing to disobey before I want to obey. I want to be different, I don’t need these feelings, this struggle. Teach me, empower me by your Spirit.
Lord, take me up, erase this sin. Re-mold my mind, heart and spirit to have joy and follow you. I will show other friends and students to do this also, I will praise you.
Lord, before anything that I can do for you, you care about my heart, my humility before you. I come to you now, humble. Only you can change this… please… change this.

Those who heard it said, “Then who can be saved?” But he said, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.” Luke 18:26-27
