RE:ading 12.03.07 Judges 4:1-24

RE:flect

Strife. Pain. Anger. Death. Loneliness. Fear.

When we are willing to consider it. To really think about it. Couldn’t this be the commentary to our lives. When we find ourselves experiencing the strife, pain, anger, etc. Couldn’t my life read,

“And once again, Joshua did evil in the sight of the Lord… then some time… then strife, pain, anger, separation from God and others. Today, let us reflect on one simple thing. SIN. You know it is a powerful thing—sin. God is more powerful, yes. Buy let’s understand the effects of sin. They pretty much stink!

RE:act

Start writing, and don’t stop. Don’t worry about punctuation… start writing down all the emotions… effects and what happens when sin enters a relationship. Then, just stare at those words. What do they mean… strife, pain, anger, death, loneliness, fear…

RE:ply

Lord, you are my God. To you we can look for deliverance, even from myself!

Lord, save your people from themselves. Save us for your glory.

Lord, help me to overcome my temptations, with you I can!

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge.” Psalm 51:3-4
