12.01.07 RE:ading Joshua 24:1-29

RE:flect

Would you still obey and follow Jesus if you never received another benefit from him? Are we willing to notice the extent of what we have been delivered from. See how the People also realize that it was the LORD who brought them from the land of slavery (Egypt). Is your past enough for the rest of your future? If you say yes, than how much more grateful should you be for God's continued blessings. If you forget your past, you will be tempted by the present...

It is pretty frank here. Don’t worship at the altar of anything other than GOD!

RE:act

Joshua tells the people that they will be witnesses against themselves. The oath, the word of your mouth. Listen, if you are struggling with your faith. Please call me! Please call someone. If you look to other gods to have faith (trust) in, you will bring disaster upon you!

Read that carefully! YOU will bring disaster upon YOU! If you are struggling with sin now, seek help. My guess is that it was crafty and rebellious and you have begun an bad end you your life, “after he [God] has been good to you” (Joshua 24:20).

RE:ply

Lord, it is time to change.
Lord, it is time to let it all go.
Lord, it is time to live for you. To truly give it all for you.
Lord, I am guilty. Time and time again.
Lord, you can deliver me again. Come to my rescue. Save me Lord. I need you.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
